The other side is closer than you think.

Willow was like any other teenage girl, until a fatal car accident left her an orphan and with the ability to see earthbound spirits. Forced to relocate to a small town in Kansas, she moves in with her grandparents.

Talking to things others can’t see doesn’t help her make friends, except for those that are no longer living. Even they don’t stick around long though, because she does whatever is necessary to help those spirits stuck with unfinished business to move on. But when she hears about a haunted school, she can’t help but investigate. What she finds might end up being more than she bargained for.

The locations in this book are real, but the story itself is pure fiction.

Willow's back, and there's a new spirit to help.

Willow has been busy for the past year since she helped Jack cross over. But when a spirit who is soaking wet shows up at school, her peace begins to crumble. While she’s managed to hide her ability to see earthbound spirits from everyone but her boyfriend Shane and Gran, her best friend is starting to notice.

Meanwhile, Shane asks her to help a friend of his whose house has a couple of unwanted guests that have no intentions of leaving.

Can Willow manage to hold onto her secret or will things start to unravel? How can she remain a normal teenage girl when she’s helping spirits who look like something from a horror movie and more and more people asking for her help? She’s not sure, but no matter what she knows she has this ability for a reason and that’s to help the dead. But maybe, if she can learn to trust herself, she can help the living too.
